I see so many out there but I am extremely hesitant to try any of them because I hear so many are scams and just want money up front. Has anyone found one that worked and has been profitable?
Also, has anyone ever heard of/tried Project Payday? I got an email from them advertising… Please let me know of any companies/programs have worked out for any of you. Thanks.

There are many real things like ebay, survey for cash, affiliate marketing etc. positions like virtual assistant and home based agent could be tried. Depends on your personality.

There are a LOT of real legitimate companies out there to be able to work for home for. Almost everyone I personally know, work for different companies, or have their own home based businesses. The ones that have “jobs” working for someone else, they did not pay any money to. Those are “jobs” in which you apply for a position to work for someone, you would not be paying them to work for them. A few people had to pay for back ground checks, or go in and have a drug test, but other than that, no one else paid a dime (except taxes which was taken out of their paychecks. The others who have businesses did have start up costs. As with any business you start up, there is always some start up costs for different things. With home based business, the start up costs are usually under $500, some are more. But for the most part, they’re under $500.
Project Payday isn’t a job, working for someone. There was an article written that I recommend you reading on how these places work, what’s involved and what you do. You can also obtain information on this article to different articles on work from home jobs as well as home based business. A very interesting article that I recommend you read.
