You can make money off of any website you design. Toss in some google adsense and you have an income potential website.

A website I had a business partner design for me does just that.

The traffic is the revenue source. Article submission is a free way to build links and traffic to your site, as it builds organic search results, but it is time consuming. Slow but surely, if you provide relative content, you can earn some respectable income.
