they work, but the rate of return is really low. 5% or less for most. best bet is to find your market and mail to them directly, rather than putting a coupon in a folder with a bunch of other peoples coupons.
Yes I do use coupon mailouts-especially at grocery store.Kroger has certain days that are double couple days & honor those w/your coupon at twice the amount.
Also use ones from the drug stores as CVS & Eckerds.
In my area, newspapers on Sunday’s & Wednesday’s has the coupons & discounts on the company (s) that has discounts honored & published that are going on, usually for the entire week.
Yes they do; however how you approach a particular market segment makes all the difference. That is where “data mining” and the like come into play. The more focused the mailing list; the better the results. If you just mail out an offer; the return rate can be quite low; anywhere from 1% to 5%; however, telemarketing follow-up will enhance your rate of return by an additional 20% - 30%; again the factor of how good of a list did you target your customer audience; the quality of the telemarketer etc. Once you invest in a mail-out be prepared for follow-up and invest in a longer-term relationship with your customer. Brand recognition; product; price; distribution - are just some of the considerations; not to mention competition. Nobody ever misses when keeping an eye on your competitors. Hope you do well. I really would have to know a lot more about your business and product line to do justice to your question.
Horaayy..there are 4 comment(s) for me so far ;)
