Does the following look like something David Archuleta would actually say in an email?:?

I asked if the email address I emailed was really David Archuleta’s. I’m not sure if I should believe this or not and just stop emailing the address for safety measures. What do you think? This was his response:

Hi David here! I just decided to make this email to be able to talk to my fans knowing that some of them are not allowed to have myspaces. I haven’t advertised this email much but i still have 407 unread messages! Its really crazy! Thanks,

The address is theofficialarchuleta@yahoo.com. His YouTube account is that too so I thought it matched up OK. I don’t know what to think!
Another question along with this:
Would you recommend that i continue emailing this address or just end contact all together? I just want to be safe. It’s hard on the Internet.

Hmmm…. hard to say. It is a good idea for a star to create a fan mail address because some fans can’t have Myspaces.
