how can i stop the advertising from being placed on my yahoo email pages?

Advertisements are sitting on my email pages I want permanently off. How can I prevent anymore irritating advertising from intruding on my pages?

You are receiving Yahoo Mail free. The advertising is what pays for it. You can have no advertising by paying for email.
