Some spammers will change the from address to be the same address as the receiver. It makes it easier for it to bypass spam filters as usually emails from yourself would most likely not be spam. It’s a spammers trick.. I’ve been in the computer industry long enough to know.
you may not have got hacked. but i suggest you change your password quick smart!!
and it may not even be from you actual email address this is programs that will let people send emails anonymously and sometimes they let you type in a random email address and then send it to that person to freak them out

I doubt it - although anything is possible.
More likely it used address “spoofing” from your address book and chose your own email address.

Spammers are real tricksters
You signed up for something and the co sold your email or
You got on one of those chain jokes or chain inspirational stuff
The spammer simply culled out your address and the spammer used some tricky program to do this
Now if you block the spammer you block sending yourself email containing a file you want to save via email
