I get advertising e-mails all the time. Tigerdirect.com.. etc. I want to produce an e-mail with images like the professionals.
I am using an editing tool for my webpages. I even tried zipping the files and sending everything with an html but the images wouldn’t load. My other choice is to post the page on my site and leave a link in my email.

It all starts with graphic design for whatever you are trying to advertise. Make something attractive and it takes a few tries to get the size just right. In HoTMaiL, you can attach images to the email which will display the attached images at the bottom one under another. You can store as many as you want, unfortunately I don’t believe you can type text under the pictures. However, there is an alternate solution. Use HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) to do some serious work. Now, it’s not that hard, I’ll give you the basics.

To insert an image, you must use the following “command”:

Note: To get a URL for your image, you can upload it to an image-hosting site such as, after upload it will give you the URL for the picture

To format font size and color in HTML:
TEXT GOES HERE

You can use any number for size, you can type a few colors in COLOR or you can use the Hexadecimal code for that color by typing # followed by six digits which you can find on this page:

An alternate is to design the layout of the e-mail altogether as a JPEG image and attach that. Hope all of this information helped!

Use your signature making utility of your email program as you will make an HTML file with all the images that will go with every email. There is also software out there that makes HTML emails just for the purpose you want.
