When I open my e-mail, I get this stupid banner ad for enlarging the size of ***** and medication. I **** those ads and I have young kids who use my computer. I want those ad vanish!

1. You could upgrade to Yahoo! Mail Plus. It would obviously cost some money but there’s no advertising.

2. Firefox has an add-on called AdBlock. It automatically detects if there are advertisements on the page based on html url’s and things and makes them disappear. This only works on Firefox. I don’t know of ways for Internet Explorer, as it has less of a community of add-on programs.
