Are you a business that relies on their advertising to drive customers or prospects to call their business, send an email for more info or go to your website? I would like to know how much you spend a month on advertising. Where do you advertise? And how do you track it?

I don’t need to advertise my business. We are a company who lease buildings to other companies. When one tenant leaves we just list with a local real estate office. Pretty simple I thought. That usually costs one moths rent every 10 or so years.

I advertise on yahoo, you can enter your monthly budget and per click and watch your reports. I also place my website address in local newspapers which people get I want to target, like parents, I print my website address on business cards and leave them everywhere I go, and I talk to people online when I can and relay my website address when appropriate. I track all my leads by entering them on an excel spreadsheet and checking off the next steps as I go.
