How to find a list of email addresses for a legitimate purpose?

I would like a list of people’s email addresses as I am trying to start up a business and would like to advertise. This is a free way to advertise and would get my business name around many different people. Any ideas?

I don’t know of any instant easy ways.

But you can go to superpages.com and do a search in your area for a certain type of business. (ie: Daycares.)

You would have to go through all the listings and make a record of all the email addresses you find.

Basically make your own listings.
