I have a blog and how do i ask certain companies to advertise on my blog. Do i email them? I do not want to use google ad sense. So any tips?

ad sense is the most popular way
you can join their affliate programs
visit websites and there should be an option saying join as affliates etc

If you want potential advertisers to advertise in your site . Adbrite is the answer

Just go to the site to get additional information.
