April 18, 2010I dont have any actual work experience in marketing and advertising but, I do have a lot of ideas that I want to put out there. How do I get into the business? I have tried to get into entry level spots and they say that they want experience. I dont know what else I can show them to prove that I am worth hiring. Any ideas on this would be huge.

What I know is Internet marketing. So online business for me is great. It’s easy and can earn robust money if you can do the right thing
If you don’t have any work experience, and you’re willing to start at the bottom, talk to firms you want to apply to about ‘intern’ positions. That kind of language ’speaks’ more to marketing & advertising firms.
Another idea: Study the company you want to work at: what kind of programs do they develop - do your research. After getting an interview, talk about what you see/what your reaction to their campaigns were. Not in a cocky way but to show them you’re serious and that you’re willing to research and invest time to learn. Tell them you’re will to put that kind of heart and soul and commitment into your work for them.
