I was wondering the same thing because I’m a freshman in college and am majoring in the same thing. Talent and skills take you a long way. If you switched and majored in something that makes you unhappy, would it be worth it?
Think about advertising. Where do you see ads? Everywhere. Even on shirts. It’s like people who wear Hollister are walking advertisements. Obviously there are people working behind the scenes. If ads are everywhere, even online…it seems that getting the degree would be worth it. Make sure you have an emphasis in something. Mine is Electronic Media and Visual. If I have to, my backup is Advertising.
