Is the AdVantage advertising software a spyware program?

I downloaded a free trial of Winace. It says in order to receive a free Winace license I must download the advantage advertising software. I recently had a big problem with viruses and spyware on my computer so I do not want to go through that again. Is advantage advertising software going to damage my computer or create popups? If you have to install other programs just to have it for free you can bet its adware/spyware. I advise you not to install it! Here’s another packer and its free and allows to unpack different kinds of files it’s called 7-zip. If you want to check your pc for spyware or check your registry to improve performance see the second link.
