I saw an ad last week for an email type system to keep in touch with far away grandparents and don’t remember the web site. It said it was only available from TV and I am not sure if it was made by HP. I looked like a printer system that was hooked up to phone line. You were able to email the grandparents letters and pictures and it would automatically print on the system. The premise was that they would not need a computer but just this system. I want to buy for my grandparents.

It used to be called Web TV, and now is owned by MSN. It involves a box connected to the TV, and I think it is free. All they have is email. Try here:

It’s great for people who don’t have a computer, don’t want or can’t afford a computer, and a great way for grandparents and grandkids to stay in touch. Good for You!
