That happened to me. It even sent me the email as well as everybody on my contact list. People that I have not been in contact for some time. From what I understand so far is it is only with yahoo. It is happening to alot of people. What should we do?

The password to your email account has probably been stolen, so that a spammer can send fraud emails to your contacts on your behalf.

This way, your friends and family think it is a legitimate operation and order from the website… never to see their money again.

You should change your password as soon as possible, and send an email to all your contacts to warn them and apologize.

Piece of advice : use different passwords for different sites, or at least use different passwords for important services (1 for your email, 1 for your bank, etc. and 1 for the rest).

That probably happened because you have created an account on a dodgy site, provided your email address, and used the same password for the dodgy site and your email account…
