It just started on Monday. It is on the far right side and happens while I’m in my email. It is always there and it say’s “advertisement” but there is not a close box to get rid of it. It has made my viewing area smaller and it’s quite bothersome. Thanks for any input.

I use AdAware from Lavasoft. It is free or you can pay for the Plus version (I did). I think it does a fine job.

Providers that give you free e-mail (like Yahoo) always give you ads. It is how they can provide your e-mail without charge.

So you also have AT&T Yahoo or one of the others. This is a new policy. The fee you pay as part of your DSL service no longer provided Advertisment free email service from Yahoo.

AT&T claims the fee only provides for the extra services of Yahoo Mail Plus and we will get the advertising the free account users must put up with. AT&T Yahoo claims the advertisments will provide us with valuable information.

I contacted my Cable company this morning and will have Cable DSL installed next Wednesday.

Terry Semel gets paid 72 Million dollars a year to ***** the customers. I’m screwing back and dropping everything Yahoo and AT&T. Even my phone service.

If you use Yahoo Photo, better get them transferred to another service real soon. Yahoo is closing Yahoo Photo in a couple of months and every photo still in storage will be deleted. Another fine screwing of Yahoo’s paying customers.
