May 29, 2009I get various company advertising in my email in box, mostly from one company called “Generous Genie”. It is a Daily ritual for me to go through my email each morning and delete ads from the same company again and again. When I try to unsubscribe, the message, “request is not valid”, appears on screen. How can I unsubscribe to “Generous Gennie” nuisance?

Don’t try. Such ads are set up to redouble their efforts because your use of the unsubscribe link verifies that you got it. Instead, go to “options” and block it.
Never open spam it only confirms your email address. When you open an
email and ask them to stop sending you the emails that is as good as they want they know now that they have a good email address. Follow the steps below and it should help.
Always click on email and then click Spam you can also:
Go to “Options” It is above your email
Click on “Mail Options”
Click on “Blocked Addresses”
Enter the address you want to block
Click on “Add Block”
Click on “Save”
