looking to use an email provider that sounds more professional than, ‘yahoo.com’. Or is it possible to use yahoo without having the suffix yahoo.com Something with the ability to create my-business-name.com, or something like that. Absolutely nothing against yahoo, just looking for a professional name. Any suggestions?

Horaayy..there are 3 comment(s) for me so far ;)
can’t blame you. especially after the palin’s yahoo account got hacked. you see, all major email services have ads, and all the lesser known ones don’t have many extras. gmail is great, still kind of professional, and the amount of ads can be controlled. they only appear on the side and barely take up space. i suggest you try it out. but see if your tv provider (if you have cable only) has an email service, becasue mine does. good luck
That’s easy.
Just buy a domain name for a few dollars. I use GoDaddy ( ), but there are other good ones out there. You can buy a dot-com for $10 a year, sometimes less when they’re on sale. Then, at GoDaddy (and some others) you get a free e-mail account. It takes just a minute to set up.
So, you get a domain like. Then you set up your free e-mail account. And you can get even fancier. You can have a “catch all account” so that any e-mail coming into my-business-name.com goes into your inbox. So you can give out different address to different folks:,,, and so on. It’s unlimited. And it’s only $10 or less per year.
I agree. Use Go Daddy
