There are lot of different fields you could go into really. That is such a broad background. I had a BA in PR and ended up in sales, which worked out well for me before I started my own company.

Go to the local shopping mall and ask the mall manager if you can intern there for awhile. You will be overwhelmed with PR and Advertising work. It will show you how retail is really performed. It will also open some doors to retailers who can use your talent. Great choice of careers! You’ll never be unemployed.

A friend of mine got her BA in Communications last year and is working at the local hospital in the PR department. She interned there for the first three months and got hired on as a PR coordinator. Hospitals have public relations departments; I’d research your local hospital and see what their needs are and how you can meet them.
