I’m not talking about sending millions of random emails advertising **** or whatnot i mean if i was to send weekly advertisements for my business to the same 50,000 people who opted in to receive emails from another website but not mine.

i am not sure but i am pretty sure any kind of spam is illegal. one time i was at my friends house and we put like 10 smileys in a forum and the moderator yelled at us say he can ban us
Someone should track you down and beat the living ….. Be very careful. I have reported three sites to the FTC in the past week. Federal crimes, they may simply take your computers and your business (assets, cash, inventory….) Plus, if it is going through interstate commerce then the separate sovereign governments (each state) could prosecute you.
50K a week is not small time. In 5 short months you will have sent 1 million unsolicited emails, aka spam.
google “CAN SPAM” act for the legal consequences. You can be fined may millions of dollars a week IIRC, and do jail time as well.
In the meantime, consider your ISP will probably ban you each week, then you will need to find another. You will find yourself in an ugly area of the internet very rapidly if you think it is still a good idea.
