I have recently launched my own website and I have been approached via email about advertising on my website. What questions should I ask this person to make sure I will not be making a mistake. I want the website to remain clear, un cluttered and easy to read.

You’ll want to have a clear agreement (a contract, in fact) about when and how you will be paid.

After that, it’s about you specifying what format you’ll accept (e.g., will you accept only a GIF or JPEG graphic of a particular size), who will be responsible for posting the ad, how often the ad will be changed.

And, of course, if you have requirements about content or style. Will you accept profanity in ads? Animation? Popups, popunders, etc.? Racism? ******? Political ads?
