I ordered an advertised item online. It showed that it was in stock, processing, and would be delivered on a certain day. That day passed and I emailed Staples customer service about my order. They said the order was cancelled, because the item was out of stock. I was never told my order was cancelled until I contacted them. I want a similar item, since I know they sell many varieties of this office equipment, but I’m not getting anywhere with customer service. I believe this may be an issue with the bait-and-switch technique, since this was the least-expensive item they had in this category.

you can ask for the customer service department at staples.com first, and let them know, if they are uncooperative, you will contact the Better Business Bureau and lodge a complaint.
