In other words, with the old email, I never heard clicking noises through my speakers when new ads would load. Now with the new email, the page clicks constantly and if it’s not fixed, I’ll have to switch to another email service.

Whatever page or email client you are using is set to refresh at a regular interval (Or the webpage expires at a regular interval) causing your browser or email client to refresh the ads. The click is a setting in control panel - sounds that says when a page refreshes make a funny sound. Don’t trash the email, neuter the sound..

In control panel, go to sounds, and find the Windows Explorer section. For the “Start Navigation” you want to change the sound Name to (None). This seems to clear the problem.
Good luck.
